Leavenworth Climbing, July 27 2008

Quick one day trip to Leavenworth, just me and Sketchy. The disadvantage of a one day Leavenworth trip is the roughly one to one climbing to driving ratio, especially with the breakfast before and bratwurst after. The advantage is that it wasn’t raining like it was everywhere on the west side.

• Alphabet Rock, Meat Grinder 5.10a trad (TR attempt) “perplexing crux slot” indeed
• Alphabet Rock, Dog-Leg Crack 5.8+ trad (lead attempt) first fall on gear (and then second, and third…), thanks blue cam and green cam
